Obituary of Bruce D. Braughton

Bruce D. Braughton Sr., age 69, of Newark, DE passed away on August 30, 2017 at Christiana Hospital. Raised in Trainer, PA, Bruce has resided in Newark, DE since 1991 and previously Boothwyn, PA. Bruce proudly served in the Navy. He was employed by EDiS Construction Company as a superintendent for many years retiring in 2012. An avid fisherman, Bruce enjoyed spending his winters in Florida Bass fishing with his buddies at Lake Marion Paradise. He also enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and grandsons. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Elliott & Robert Braughton. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia L. Walker Braughton, a daughter, Michele Braughton and a son, Bruce "Doug" Braughton and wife, Isha and 2 grandchildren, Nicholas and Maxwell Braughton and brother, Mark Bostwick. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11AM. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Lung Association (www.lung.org)
