Obituary of Guy F Calibey

Guy Frank Calibey, age 83 died on September 6, 2017 after a long battle with cancer at his home in Chestertown, MD. Guy was born and raised in Hazleton, PA and moved to Eddystone, PA and Rock Hall, MD before moving to Chestertown, MD. He was a veteran and served during the Korean War. After the war he worked at Westinghouse, where he met his wife of 53 years, Antoinette Kida of Chester, PA. He also worked at Baldwins, Baldt Anchor and Chain, retiring in 1992 from Schramm in West Chester. Guy has spent his retired year enjoying the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. He was a devout catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Church in Chestertown, past president of the local seniors and home owners association of Swan Point. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, boating and dancing. Guy is survived by his two children Gary (Theresa) Calibey and Annette (Glenn Gilbert) Calibeo, brother, Anthony Calibey, 6 grandchildren, David (Brielle), Maria, Megan, Victoria, Nicholas and Jeana, great grandson, Ryan.
