Obituary of Alan P. Buerkle

Alan P. Buerkle, age 60 of Upper Chichester, PA died peacefully on September 6, 2017 at home. Born in Chester, PA and raised in Ogden, PA, he was a longtime resident of Upper Chichester. Alan currently worked as a Realtor and graduated from Chichester High School class of 1976. He served in the Army during peacetime and enjoyed working on cars, swimming, going to the beach, camping and his motor home. Alan is preceded in death by his parents, Paul W. and Shirley A. Jenkins Buerkle , and is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eileen L. Moore Buerkle, 2 children, Iris Buerkle and Joseph Buerkle, 6 siblings, Douglas Buerkle, Anna Tepthenheart, Wendy Burrows, Charles Buerkle, Andrew Caylor and Cheryl Swain, 2 grandchildren, James Blackburn and Annabella Buerkle. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, 10-11AM, at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a funeral services at 11AM. Interment will be private.
