Obituary of John C. Fretchel

John "Jack" C. Fretchel, 42 of Claymont, DE died on February 5, 2016 at Wilmington Hospital. Born in Chester, PA, he was a lifelong resident of Claymont, DE. Jack graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School class of 1991. He received his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Delaware Technical Community College and went onto West Chester University where he received his Bachelors degree in Pyschology. After graduating college, Jack was employed with AIG until 2003 and currently worked as a Union Millwright for Local 1906. He was a union officer holding positions as a Trustee and Secretary of Disability Committee. He enjoyed kayaking, archery and Geocaching with his daughter. He was known for his ready wit, smiling face and shenanigans. Jack was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Jack is survived by his daughter, Noelle "Pierogi" Fretchel, parents, John and Betty Ann Wilson Fretchel, sister, Jill (Glenn) Kitterman, 2 nieces, Erica and Ashley Kitterman. Relative and friends are invited to his funeral service on Saturday 11AM, at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call Friday 7-9PM and Saturday 10-11AM.
