I was just thinking about you this past Friday and wondered how you all were. Now I see that your dear Bill is completely healed and at home with the Lord. You will miss him, but what a joy to know that he is not suffering any more. You have those precious memories.
You both as a couple were a shining example of a couple who loved the Lord but also so loved each other and were committed to a life-time together. Such an example.
Blessings to you, Dear Dee. Hope we can keep in touch.

Bill was a Wheaton College soccer player under Dr. Robert Baptista and I got to know him when I replaced Dr. B in 1969. His son David played for me as a goalkeeper. His Dad would travel out to Wheaton to see the team play. He always felt a part of the Wheaton soccer tradition. As the retired. coach , I offer my condolences to the family but rest assured that Bill is with our Lord in heaven.

"For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe God will bring with Jesus those (Bill) who have fallen asleep in him..., therefore encourage one another with these words" ( I Thess. 4:14, 18).
Bill's friendship, prayer partner fellowship, leadership and sage advice, particularly during the years of church planting at Concord Liberty and indeed long after, meant the word to me. I miss him so!
A few of the many fun memories I treasure are that we all skied together at Snowmass (and on Concord Liberty youth ski retreats)... and also, enjoyed fellowship over meals at Shadow Hill, as well as, after summer church services under the linden trees before playing ball and at your home...and so much more..., memories abound and all of them make me smile with a heart of gratitude for Bill and for each of you.
Dee, Luise and David -- we grieve with you at the home going of Bill --- may the hope of the resurrection and the peace of Christ sustain you in your grief and give you hope!
Our love and prayers,
Stan, Dar and Eleanor
