John was my Boss, my Mentor and most of all My Friend that treated me like Family. Working with and for him from 1972 until he retired I know what he meant to all of us that worked for him and we all still talk about the CASTLE FAMILY days. Aline - 62 years of marriage - that's the kind of stuff fairy-tales are made of - Please let the Love the two of you shared bring you comfort at this difficult time. Jackie and Johnny - Your Dad was definitely one of the good guys and you know his family meant the world to him. John will always be in our hearts and memories. Love, Belinda

Johnny & the Schilling Family: please accept our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your Dad. He was truly a great man with a warm heart and a ready smile. That’s what I remember most about him....his smile. I’m out of town and won’t be able to attend the service but trust that I’m with you in spirit. My condolences to the family...I thougherly enjoyed the years that I worked for John at Castle Industries. He was kind...fair and loyal to all of us and it was a pleasure being a part of the Castle family under his leadership. John will be missed and I will never forget him.
