Obituary of Thomas Charles Zebley

Thomas Charles "Zeb" Zebley, age 90, of Aston, PA passed away peacefully on April 27, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Raised in Sharon Hill, PA, Tom has resided in Aston for the past 61 years. A graduate from Sharon Hill High School, class of 1947, Zeb played high school football, basketball and baseball and held the record for the 2nd highest scorer fo basketball in the county and was also named All Delco Football. In addition, he had a passion for golf attaining the status of a Hole-in-One. He loved woodworking, carving, archery, bowling and singing. Tom was a member of the Aston Presbyterian Church where he held a number of positions including serving as an Elder. He retired as Supervisor from Westinghouse in Tinicum after 35 years in 1983. In addition to his parents, Charles and Edna Rowand Zebley, he is preceded in death by 6 siblings. Tom is survived by his wife of 69 years, Doris Hatton Zebley, 4 children, Patricia Zebley (Paul Kugelman), Thomas W. Zebley (Teresa), Eric C. Zebley (Susan) and Pamela E. Zebley (Darryl McCartt), 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 10-11am at the Aston Presbyterian Church, 2401 Baldwin Run Ln, Aston, PA 19014 followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00AM. Interment will remain private. The family of Thomas Zebley wishes to extend their appreciation to the Main Line Hospice for the care and comfort during this difficult time.
