Obituary of Michael C Bolen

Michael C. Bolen, age 14 of Media, PA passed away from seizure complications on April 16, 2016 at A.I. Dupont Children's Hospital. Born in Clearwater, Florida, he recently relocated to Media, PA, and attended the Delaware County Intermediate Unit. While Michael had a severe form of autism and was nonverbal, he was an amazing kid who charmed everyone that was fortunate enough to know him. His favorite thing to do was to snuggle with his Dad while snacking and watching movies or playing on his iPad. He also enjoyed puzzles, swimming, and surfing. He is survived by his loving parents, Chad & Leslie (Ferko) Bolen, a brother, Jacob Bolen, a sister Rachel Bolen, paternal grandmother, Mary Bolen (Moeller) and his maternal grandmother, Joan Ferko (McKinley). He will be joining both his paternal grandfather, Michael Bolen, and maternal grandfather, Donald Ferko, in heaven. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, 3:00PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from 1:00-3:00PM. Interment Private.
