Obituary of Eugene H. Smith

Eugene "Gene" H. Smith, age 75, of Upland, PA passed away on October 8, 2018. Born in Chester, Gene was a resident of Upland, PA since 1970. In his earlier years, Gene enjoyed bowling and was active in league play for several years. An avid Phillies fan, he loved all Philly sports. He enjoyed traveling, music, theater and visiting the casinos. Devoted to his family, his priorities were caring for his son, Chuck. In addition to his parents, John and Elizabeth Smith, he is preceded in death by a son, Eugene Smith Jr. and 2 brothers, Harold and Gill Smith. Gene is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Smith and her husband, Adam Ward, a son, Charles Smith, a sister, Lois Smith and a brother Jerel Smith and his wife, Mary Jane. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Memorial Service at 11AM. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Elwyn Enterprises, 111 Elwyn Rd., Media, PA 19063.
