Obituary of Frances Elizabeth Curley

Frances Elizabeth Curley, age 100, of Garnet Valley, PA passed away peacefully on November 3, 2018. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Frances has resided in Bethel Twp., for 50 years. Over the years, Frances stayed quite busy, raising her 11 children, operating her own business and also working in the cafeteria at the Garnet Valley School. In addition, she was a life member of St. John Fisher Church. She also enjoyed square dancing, was a member of the Red Hats. In addition to her parents, William and Lucy Meier, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Curley and a son, Michael Curley, brother, Edwin Meier and a sister, Marion Ferguson. She is survived by her children, James (Shirley), Thomas (Diane), William (Beth) and Paul (Karen) Curley, Frances (Jim) Powell, Maureen (Harry) Milman, Ronnie (John) Woodward, Arlene Symons, Lorraine (John) Schlesselman and Janice (Jeff) Fulkerson, 36 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, 8:30am - 9:45am at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30Am at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA. Interment, Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Donor's favorite charity.
