Obituary of Edward A. Gray

Edward A. Gray, age 90 of Upper Chichester, PA passed away on December 7, 2018 at Neighborhood Hospice. Born in Hicksville, Long Island, NY and reared in Linwood, PA, he resided for the past 76 years in Upper Chichester. A steel worker for Phoenix Steel in Claymont, DE for 31 years, Edward retired in 1988. He was a member of the Hillside Rod and Gun Club in Potter County and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sports. Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Wilson H. and Viola Porter Gray, wife, Jean D. Higgins Gray who died in February, 2018, two brothers, Lloyd and Gilbert Gray. He is survived by two daughters, Patti (Bill) Dunkin of West Chester, PA and Penny Gray of Sarasota, FL, five grandchildren, Catherine (Tom) Zickgraf of Evans, GA, Michael (Carol) Dunkin of Lemont, IL, David (Becky) Dunkin of Wallingford, PA, Christine (Allan) Douglas of Nashville, TN and Frank (Jen) Pettoruto of Pembroke Pines, FL and fourteen great-grandchildren: Stephen Alexander (28), Joshua Seth (17), Ethan Edmund (14), Josiah Stephen (13), Amelia Rose (12), Daniel Joseph (9), Adam William (9), Fiona Jean (9), Collin Elliott (6), Eloise Gray (6), Xavier Falcon (5), Hannah Grace (2), Kelvin Kingfisher (2), and Kestrel Viola (2 weeks). A visitation will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11AM. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
