Obituary of Helen L. Lewis

Helen L. Lewis, age 84, of Trainer, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at the Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester. Helen was born in Chester, PA, and spent most of her life in Delaware County, PA. During her childhood, she had lived on her families farm in Cedarville, NJ. She was a School Aide at the Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic School for thirty years until it's closing. She then began employment as a librarian at the Saint Joseph's Catholic School in Aston, PA and retired in 2010. Helen is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Lewis, who passed away two days after Helen on April 29, 2016, parents Fred and Mary Izzo, siblings Thomas, Anthony, Patrick, Joseph Izzo, and Ann Taylor. Helen is survived by her husband of 62 years Ronald Lewis, sons Francis (Anita) Lewis and David (Joni) Lewis, grandson Francis Lewis Jr., and sister Carmella Lewis. Relatives and friends are invited to honor both Ronald and Helen Lewis on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00PM, followed by a 2PM Memorial Service. Interment will remain private. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Helen's name can be made to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E. Marshall St., West Chester PA 19380.
