Obituary of Elizabeth I. Marvian

Betty VanLandingham Marvian, age 92, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on January 14, 2019. Born in Chester, PA, Betty resided in the Twin Oaks section of Upper Chichester. She worked as a bank teller at the Fidelity Bank in Marcus Hook. After her retirement, Betty enjoyed her summer home in Pot Nets at the Delaware beach. Betty was a longtime member of the Linwood Heights United Methodist Church and was known as "Gam" to her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Harry and Mae Marshall Clendenning, Betty is preceded in death by her first husband, James Russell VanLandingham, her second husband, Frank Marvian and 4 siblings. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Susan C. White and Joan Ball, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral Services and Interment at Lawn Croft Cemetery will remain private.
