Obituary of Ronald Lewis

Ronald Lewis, age 85, of Trainer, PA, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016. Ronald grew up in Chester, PA and was the son of the late Jesse Lewis and Rose (Dasso) Lewis. Ronald was an honorable Army Reserve Veteran who served during the 50's thru the 70's at which he reached the rank of Sargent Major. He served with the Army Reserve Medical Unit in Upland, PA. He worked as a butcher at A & P Company and later Super Fresh markets for 42 years. Ronald was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Aston, PA. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents. Ronald's wife of 62 years, Helen Lewis passed away two days before Ronald on Tuesday, April 27, 2016. Ronald is survived by sons Francis (Anita) Lewis and David (Joni) Lewis, grandson Francis Lewis Jr., Relatives and friends are invited to honor both Ronald and Helen Lewis on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00PM, followed by a 2PM Memorial Service. Interment will remain private. In lieu of flowers a donation in Ronald name can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
