I knew Dave from our many years working at CitiSteel in Claymont DE. he was a skilled millwright and a kind person. He was relied upon by his coworkers and the management team at the steel mill, and he always came through to get the Job done. Dave touched everyone that knew him in a positive manner, due to his kindness. It was a pleasure to know him and to work with him during those years at the mill, we are saddened by his passing. May god bless his family and friends.
Rest in peace Dave, Donald Downs 5-17-19

I met Dave in 2005 when I started working at Citisteel as Director of Maintenance. I met him on my first day and he immediately made me feel welcome. Dave was an outstanding craftsman and leader at the plant. He was always willing to share his knowledge and skills with others. He had very high standards in all of his work. Dave was a problem solver and would often consult with mill managers and craftsman to solve mill problems. Dave approached all problems and issues calmly, with knowledge and a desire to solve them as quickly as possible. Dave made significant contributions to improved plant performance.
He was highly skilled, a pleasure to work with and a truly outstanding person.
May he rest in peace--

It is with a heavy heart that I extend my condolences to Dave’s wife, children and his mother and brother. Although I had not seen Dave since we graduated from high school, I still have a lot of great memories. He was always kind, no matter who you were or where you were from.
Dave was one of the most “real“ people I had ever met.
May he rest in the Lord’s comforting and healing arms.
Rest In Peace, my old friend.

I've known Dave since he started working at CitiSteel, right through his short employment at Aluminum Shapes. He has been a positive influance both at work and outside of work. He was a no nonsense man that stood firmly behind everything he stood for. A serious professional in every sense of the word.
He leaves me with many positive memories, I will miss him...
