Obituary of Robert Burke

Robert "Casey" Burke, age 76 of Linwood, PA passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born to Robert and Margaret Anderson Burke in Abingdon, VA, he resided for over 30 years in Linwood, PA. Casey served in the U.S. Navy where he served during the Cuban Missile Crisis and Vietnam War. Casey was a member of the American Legion Post 660 in Marcus Hook. He worked as a self-employed roofer, most of his life. He enjoyed time spent with his family and especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Casey is preceded in death by seven siblings. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra J. Gaither Burke; seven children, Gale Garcia, Barry Gaither, Joy (Chip) Zimmerman, Roger (Colleen) Burke, Sean (Angela) Burke, Mickey (Jodi) Baxter, Stacy (Dante) Canalichio, and Franny Burke; his grandchildren, Heather, Ashley, Casey, Jared, Seth, R.J., Shayne, Devon, Dylan, Benjamin, Alexis, Kiara, Samantha, Shealyn, A.J., Angel, Mckenzi, Makayla, Emma, Krystal, Barry Jr., Nicholas, Tori and Montana; his four brothers, Rod, Bruce, Giles and Mike Burke; and his faithful dog "Baby" whom he adored. A visitation will be held on Sunday evening, May 19, 2019, 6:00 - 7:30 PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 7:30 PM. Interment will remain private.
