Obituary of Robert A. Cervino

Robert A. "Bob" Cervino, age 81 of Prospect Park, PA passed away on August 15, 2019 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center Hospice Unit, Coatesville, PA. Born to Peter Cervino & Catherine Bale in Phila, PA, he was a longtime resident of Prospect Park, PA. Bob and his wife, Geraldine spent the last 15 years in Ft. Pierce, FL. After serving during the Vietnam War, Bob continued with the Marines retiring after 20 years. He then was employed by the Pennsylavania State Police in the LCB Division for 20 years again retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Folsom VFW and a life member of the Newtown Square Marine Corp. League. Bob enjoyed dogs and was instrumental in the obedience training as well as training therapy dogs. Bob was known as an avid Phillies fan and loved Frank Sinatra music. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Geraldine A. Pinkos Cervino, a son, John I. Cervino and wife Sharon and two grandchildren, Jack & Nick Cervino. A visitation will be held on Thursday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral and military services at 11:00AM. Interment, Friday, 10:30AM, Graveside services will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
