Obituary of Dolores J. O'Donoghue
Dolores J. O'Donoghue, age 89 of Glen Mills, PA passed peacefully surrounded by her family on June 28, 2020 at home. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Dolores resided over 50 years in Concord Twp., PA. A homemaker, Dolores was a proud alumni of West Catholic High School Class of 1948. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling, was an avid gardener, enjoyed sports and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. She was a proud supporter of the BYC and G.V. sports. However her greatest joy was her family and time spent together. In addition to her parents, Leo H. and Gertrude V. Storm Marx, Dolores is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Joseph O'Donoghue who passed in 1992, cherished daughter, Lorraine O'Donoghue who passed in 1987 and a brother, Leo Marx. She is survived by 5 children, Joseph (Lisa) O'Donoghue, Susan Meashey, John (Allison) O'Donoghue, Karen McEvoy and Kevin (Kristin) O'Donoghue, 3 sisters, Bobbie Sword, Trudi Konrad and Diane Danese, 14 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday 6:00-8:00PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA and again on Friday 9:00-10:00AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA followed by a 10:30AM Funeral Mass. Interment, St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery.
