I am sorry to hear of the passing of John Millard. My deepest sympathy and condolences to his entire family.
I knew John during the years I worked for and with him at Millard Consulting Services. They were certainly some of the best days of my career. Not only was he the best boss I ever had, we were certainly a terrific team!
May he rest in heaven with the peace and love of those who have gone before him.

John was the finest man I ever worked with. He combined a strong sense of integrity with a strong sense of humor, an unbeatable combination in a leader. He encouraged an environment of calm and determination, which allowed his clients and his employees to advance.

We lost a good one. John was "one-of-a-kind". He loved his family - especially his beloved grandchildren.
His eyes lit up when discussing his family. We always jokingly sparred about our alma maters: Villanova vs. St. Joe's.
To Dolores and the entire family, I extend sincere condolences. Rest in peace my friend.

I met my very best friend 47 years ago at Amchem/Union Carbide when we were both hired at the same time. He was complex-enigmatic-charmingly sarcastic-hysterical and above all a “hoot”. Never a boring day when we worked on complex business problems or went out to have lunch and on the way back to the office would floor me as he would spontaneously buy a car or actually put a deposit on a house on the way home and then tell Barbara around 4:59 before leaving for home to not shock her! That’s the guy I grew fond of. Seven years later I left for my current position as a Professor in Montreal but we never stopped chatting and playing practical jokes on each other even then and especially when I returned for visits to Philadelphia and again it was lunch and dinner with John always forgetting the exact time we agreed upon...…but it was OK as the times were precious and I wish we still had them. John was special to me and above all to Barbara and his children Jennifer and Jack I knew when they were toddlers as were mine at that time in our lives. At our scheduled get together we often talked about our “kids” and not work. We had much in common as we both were raised in the same neighbourhood in W. Phila.and never met until 15 years later via fate. And this culture always bonded us. My sympathies and affection is extended to his family and I know what a loss this is to his family as it is to his old basketball buddy. Rest in peace John…you have earned it my friend.

Jack was a classmate of mine at Villanova. We would often stop by his house in west Philadelphia on the way home. I lived in North Philadelphia. Enjoyed his company, and funny stories. Lost contact after he left Villanova. Great guy,I’ll say a prayer for him and his family! RIP Jack. Dennis Kelly
