To Kim and family, we were so sorry to learn of Beryl's passing, but assured she is in heaven with Tom -probably playing cards! I met Beryl at AEXGroup, and after she retired, she and a few of us girls would get together every couple of months for a 'girls dinner' or just go to the house in Aston. Beryl was a source of inspiration and encouragement to me. I admired her wit, ability to see through people for who they really were (ha), and her generosity towards others. We debated politics, then decided our friendship was more important. I loved her for remembering my birthdays each year and finding something she knew I would love. I feel a hole in my heart and will miss her friendship. I'm glad that she is no longer in any pain and is at peace. Roger and Melissa send their deepest condolences as well. Roger was always a fan of Beryl and Tom. Please know you all are in our prayers. With deepest sympathy, Jean, Roger and Melissa Burrell Jeangb6@gmail.com

We also were fortunate to have met Beryl and Tom through the Brandywine Valley Civil War Round Table. They were both ardent supporters as Beryl shared Tom’s passion for the Civil War. Beryl did always have a smile and friendly greeting for all she met. She was enthusiastic and involved both at BVCWRT and at Maris Grove. As we walked the halls at Maris Grove with Beryl it became clear that she had gotten to know an amazing number of people in a short time. Such a positive energy will be missed.

Beryl and Tom were longtime, devoted members of Brandywine Valley Civil War Roundtable. We could count on them to be present at just about every meeting. Tom was quick with a joke, and Beryl always had a pleasant word for all she met. Beryl always came so nicely dressed and groomed, without a hair out of place, even though the trip to our meeting place was not an easy one for her. Our meetings without her will not be the same.

We met Beryl at Brandywine Valley Civil War Roundtable. She really lit up the room when she arrived. She always had a good word for all she met. We were lucky enough to be seated with her and Tom at a couple of our annual banquets, where she regaled the table with anecdotes and stories, at the same time asking her dining companions questions about their own experiences. Like her name, Beryl was a real jewel. We will miss her.

What a beautiful service for a beautiful woman!!
As stated in the eulogy, Beryl was always so thoughtful and caring when she spoke with you, truly listening and focusing on the conversation she was having with you. That is a treasured memory of this special woman. She was so well-read and it showed in her spoken word. We are so sorry for the loss of your mom, Kim and Kevin, your sister, Susan, Tom, Bob, Mary Gene, David, Pam and Glorie, and your Aunt, all of the nieces and nephews! What a gift she was to all of you, and you all were to her! She was a gift to all who knew her!
We are blessed to have know Beryl for over 40 years! All our sympathy, love, and prayers for all of you!!

Gloria and Family of Beryl,
You are very specially remembered in prayer. To lose someone so loved is a heartache which time, somehow, seems to ease. May you find peace in all the good memories of Beryl as she reunites now with loved ones in God's heavenly garden....a happiness we cannot fathom. My condolences on your loss. May you find comfort in the knowledge that she is now pain-free and is watching over you.
Love,
Mary Helen
