In addition to all the accolades that have been expressed thus far about “Jerry” and his longstanding contributions to Upper Chichester Township, as a Firefighter and Administrative Officer with Reliance Fire Company, as a Fire Police Officer for the Township, and as a member of the Township Emergency Management Team, we acknowledge that all of these positions are “Volunteer” and require a person with strong commitment and dedication to the service of others. Loyalty to these causes reflected highly on his character and his personal sacrifice for the betterment of our community and sets a benchmark to emulate. While his family grieves at this unfortunate time, we grieve as well for the loss of our Friend, Firefighter, Fire Police Officer and our Emergency Management Team Member. We can be proud of Jerry’s contributions as we know his efforts will continue to prove beneficial to us all and his spirit will be present among us. William T.
