Obituary of Guilio G. Gaspero

Guilio "Jerry" G. Gaspero, age 72 of Upper Chichester, PA passed away on December 10, 2020 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Chester, PA, he was a longtime resident of Upper Chichester. Jerry graduated from St. James High School, class of 1966, and was a Stewart for Sun Transport in Marcus Hook for 20 years retiring in 1987. After his retirement, he worked for Plumbmaster in Concordville for 20 years. Jerry served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the Reliance Fire Co. who recently became the Upper Chichester Fire Department. Jerry served as past president, trustee and treasurer. He also was an Upper Chichester Fire Police Officer and was treasurer for the Relief Association. In addition to serving his community, he enjoyed his pastime with his family and cooking. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Louis L. and Ann T. Heller Gaspero. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna M. Griffin Gaspero, son, Guilio G. Gaspero Jr., 7 siblings, Ann Louise (Jim) McGrath, Joan (Dave) Nolan, Louis Gaspero, James (Joan) Gaspero, John (Sophia) Gaspero, Michael Gaspero and Lisa (Clint) Warsing, as well as a grandson, Anthony Gourdier. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, 9:30-11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00AM. Interment will remain private.
