The Christy Family: I worked with Jim and young Jim at the Post Office in Chester, PA during the 1970's. What a wonderful family. Jim was legendary at St.James, a natural athlete and humble, but more than that just a good man. My father always spoke so highly of Jim, and his brother Dick, while I was growing up. So sorry to hear about Jim's passing. Both Jim and his son will never be forgotten.
James (Jim) A. Heavens Jr.

Judy,
So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. Lou and I never met Jim but after hearing you speak lovingly about Jim, your children, and your beloved house on Mowry Street when we worked together at Emery (oh so many years ago), it’s as though we knew your whole family. Lou has been filling me in regarding Jim’s and his brother Dick’s legendary sports history at St. James and beyond. After 65 years you must have many, many memories too help you and your family find peace and strength through these difficult times. Heartfelt condolences to you and your entire family.

To my good friend Jim,
Always remember the great times we had at Becket. I remember the great times after 18 when we'd play Superbowl again. You always were captain of the team. Those moments I'll never forget.
Condolences to your family.
Sincerely,
Pat Gallo
