Obituary of John C. Trinkl
John C. Trinkl "Jack", age 75, of Garnet Valley, PA passed away on March 24, 2021 at home with his beloved wife of 50 years, Stephanie, by his side. He was born in Allentown, PA and raised his family in Wallingford, PA. John was a Chief Financial Officer for 35 years with the American Refining Group. He earned his MBA from Temple University and his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph University. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle church. As an avid golfer, he was a longtime member of Rolling Green Golf Club. In retirement, John enjoyed traveling with his wife, golfing, and spending time in Stone Harbor, NJ. He treasured time with his family, especially as the ringleader with his cherished grandchildren, nieces and nephews. As Poppy Daddy or Uncle Jack, he hosted numerous dancing and singing contests, mini golf tourneys, "shooting hoops", and telling stories. John is preceded in death by his parents, John P. and Margaret Deutsch Trinkl and is survived by his wife, Stephanie Tamborello Trinkl, two daughters, Christine Dougherty and Monica (George) Fosdick, six grandchildren, Alec, Sammy, and Grace Dougherty, Jackie, Emily, and Henry Fosdick, two sisters, Peggy (Tom) Fink and Linda (Jim) Smith and sister-in-law Patricia (late Nick) Tamborello. A visitation will be held on Monday March 29, 2021 from 9:30 – 11:00 am at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. Donations in his memory may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society at www.braintumor.org .
