Obituary of Jenny Zalkind

Jenny Lyn Zalkind, age 62 of Newtown Square, PA passed away peacefully on April 25th, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Jenny was born in Havertown, PA to the late George VanDusen and Yvonne Eberly VanDusen. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Mitchell Zalkind and their 2 children: Jacquelyn Yvonne and Kyle Ray. Jenny was a Drexel University graduate with a degree in Interior Design, with a continued passion for design and creative restoration. Jenny had an artistic flair and a love for preserving historical artifacts. "Recycle" was her favorite word and she found joy in preserving the earth for the future generation. Jenny enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and cherished her outdoor activities. Jenny touched everyone with her infectious sense of humor and her love of life. In lieu of flowers, Jenny would love you to go plant a tree, or you can donate to The Malvern Memorial Cabin Foundation. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, services and interment will remain private.
