Obituary of Daniel P. O'Neill

Daniel P. O'Neill, age 57 of Garnet Valley, PA passed away on December 25, 2023 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Chester, PA and raised in Rutledge, PA, Daniel resided for the past 3 years in Garnet Valley, previously residing in Ridley Twp. and Media. A mechanical technician, Daniel worked for Sun Oil in Marcus Hook, PA. He graduated from Darby-Colwyn High School, Class of 1984, and served in the U.S. Navy during the Desert Storm War. He was a member of the American Legion Ogden Post 951. Dan was an avid reader. He also enjoyed bird watching, walking, golfing, fishing, and was a passionate Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers fan. Danny is preceded in death by his step-father Ed "Wally" Wallace and father, Joseph F. O'Neill, and is survived by his 2 children, Kelsey O'Neill and Kasey O'Neill, mother, Joan Wallace, former wife, Lisa O'Neill, 7 siblings, Dennis (Ana) O'Neill, Edward (Shannon) O'Neill, Joseph O'Neill, Vincent (Mary Lou) O'Neill, Katie (Thomas) Mulhern, Michael O'Neill, and Karen (Patrick) Braun as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial service with luncheon will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 1Pm at the American Legion in Ogden, Post 951, 2638 Ogden Ave., Upper Chichester, PA.
