Dan Acchione was more than just my cousin. Whatever kind of day you were having, he would make it brighter. No matter how much time passed between getting together, he would always greet me with a smile, a hug and the words “I love you Cuz”. When we both worked for the families company, he would give me both work and life advice, he NEVER was too busy for you. They say that GOD gives everyone a special gift, I believe Dan’s was the gift of laughter. No matter what type of day you were having, he would make it better. He would make you laugh and smile and for that moment in time and whatever issues you were having were gone. I believe that one of the greatest legacies you can leave in this world, is that when people think of you they smile. Dan did that and I will miss him dearly. Cousin Rusty

Hearing about Uncle Dan’s passing immediately brought me to tears, he was someone who I loved dearly and have spent most of my life missing. My sweetest most special childhood memories include his homes and the amazing times I had there, memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. He told me once to enjoy every bit of my time because it goes fast- I always find myself remembering that. He’s so right! I wish I had the opportunity to hear his voice one more time. I’ll miss you forever until we meet again Uncle Dan. <3

Mary Ann and Family, I'm sorry to hear of cousin Danny Boy's passing. I remember him so well in my youth when the Acchione Family from Arkansas would travel to Philadelphia to visit.(Circa 60's through 90's). He always made us feel welcome despite the long distance. David Acchione
